Apex Health Liverpool is led by Dr Cuthbert and Dr Dayaram, who have together over 40 years experience of working as doctors in the NHS, in the Liverpool and Wirral region. Both continue to work in busy NHS clinics and are highly regarded in the Merseyside area for their expertise, compassion and clinical skills.
We are committed to providing routes to healthcare for our patients. We offer GP appointments, and in addition we have a focus on minor surgery, dermatology, joint injections and health checks. Apex is CQC approved.

Our Doctors
Dr. James Cuthbert
MBChB MRCGP DRCOG PGDip Dermatology
Dr Cuthbert qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1997. He is passionate about the health of the city, having been born and raised in the Liverpool area. Having led of multiple innovations across healthcare in Liverpool, Dr Cuthbert is a highly experienced and respected name in the community. Dr Cuthbert has been involved in training GP Doctors for over 20 years. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology, which is his special interest alongside Minor Surgery and Joint Injections. Dr Cuthbert has previously been trained and accredited as a GP with specialist interest in Dermatology. In the past he has worked for a number of years in the community skin clinics for the local NHS trust.
Dr. Sunil Dayaram
MBChB MRCGP PGCert Med. Ed
Dr Dayaram qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2007. He continues to work as a GP in a thriving NHS Practice, with over a decade of experience as a Partner. Dr Dayaram has undertaken postgraduate qualifications in Medical Education and continues to train GPs in the Merseyside region. He has a special interest in Medical Education, Minor Surgery, Joint Injections and Preventative Medicine. Dr Dayaram has trained junior doctors and final year GPs for many years and is an active member of the GP community in Liverpool.

Minor Surgery
Drs Cuthbert and Dayaram have over 30 years of experience performing minor surgery procedures.
We offer a range of treatments including removal of cysts, warts, skin tags and more. We can also undertake skin biopsies to get gold standard diagnostics for any skin issues that are worrying for you.
Your treatment will be carried out quickly, with same day surgery available.
We uniquely and proudly collaborate with local consultants to process histology results. This means that if there is further care required, your results are immediately accessible to local specialist services.
Joint and Soft Tissue Injections
Dr Dayaram and Cuthbert together have over 30 years experience of performing joint and soft tissue injections. These are fantastic options for people suffering with painful conditions such as Arthritis and Tendonitis.
Clinical assessment will be carried out as part of your appointment
Steroid joint injections are a safe, relatively painless and quick procedure which can give significant benefit for painful conditions.
GP Consultations
We provide minimum 30 minute for new Face-to-face consultations and a range of remote options for our patients. We know that what patients value most is continuity, expertise and time. We can offer all of these with our highly experienced clinicians.
Follow-up appointments are offered at a reduced rate.
Within consultations we are able to take blood samples, undertake tests such as swabs, urine tests and more. Given our wide ranging skillset, we are likely to be able to assess your problems quickly and expertly.

Health Checks
Keep yourself and your loved ones healthy! We understand keeping a close eye on your health can be difficult with such a pace of life. At Apex Health Liverpool we can offer a bespoke and thorough assessment to accurately assess your physical and mental health. We will discuss measures to improve health where possible, and provide a detailed individualised report for all of our patients.
Unlike various health check packages offered elsewhere, you can have peace of mind that your results will be reviewed, analysed and then discussed with our experienced GPs.

Price List
Please do contact us if you have any questions. We aim to have clarity and simplicity in respect to pricing - all Minor Surgery, Injection and Health Check consultations are £50. This is taken off the total bill should you move forwards with treatment. Particularly for minor surgery we do request you contact us first to so we can advise clearly in respect to costs.
